As part of IIT’s IPRO program, I teamed up with engineers to develop a solution to the growing food insecurity epidemic. Extensive research and meeting with FDA representative led to a multi-partnership food truck utilizing aggregate buying.

The food truck would partner with culinary schools to provide licensed professionals, while picking up excess produce from local grocery stores, creating fresh meals for the community. Meanwhile users would be notified of the service through school and an app to select pick up locations.

Ultimately the goal is to utilize our information to show grocery stores the demand.
